The Medical School Challenge! How to pay for Medical School?
Sunday, June 1st, 2008Welcome! I was accepted to medical school! Yay! I just filled out my financial aid for medical school. The good news? I will soon be a doctor! The bad? I will soon be over $159,000 in debt. The Med School Challenge is a 4 year challenge to pay for medical school.
The Rules:
- I can only spend up to an hour a day on this site and trying to make money. Med Student are busy!
- My initial investment must be $0. Once I start making money I am allowed to re-invest it into the site.
- After help from my parents and other various sources, I am borrowing $39,000 a year interest free. I have a family member who has agreed to subsidize my loans for 4 years. So when I graduate from Medical School in May of 2012, I will be $156,000 in debt.
- Goal: Make $156,000 online! Wish me luck!

End Date: June 1st, 2012
Plan:
Make $159 in June (.1% of the total)
Increase earnings by 11.5% each month until month 36.
Then make $7500 each month of the final year.
If I do this I will make the 159,000.
